At KARING, we believe that real progress begins with honesty. Our organization is committed to shedding light on the often-ignored racial tensions between Korean Americans and other minority communities. We believe that ignoring our shared history isn’t the solution — acknowledging it is the first step toward healing.
Rooted in the Korean American immigrant experience, KARING fosters understanding and connection through inclusive community activities. We aim to build relationships not through debate or confrontation, but through fun, community-driven, and meaningful interactions — from sports and picnics to film nights and open discussions.
Our philosophy is simple: by creating new shared experiences, we can move beyond division and toward empathy. Our goal is to empower the next generation of Korean Americans to be socially conscious and politically engaged — to not only understand their place in American society, but to help shape it for the better.
The path to equity starts with open eyes, open hearts, and a willingness to grow — together.
